The Medical Imaging Research Laboratory and the Targeted Imaging Research Laboratory are equipped with state of the art technology and equipment. Some of the primary research equipment includes:

• Clinical ultrasound imaging facility
• Complete wet lab
• Cancer cell line manipulation, storage and incubation facility
• Liposome and nanoliposome development hardware
• Advanced RF ultrasound system for therapeutic delivery
• 3D real time clinical ultrasound system

Collaboration with other laboratories in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science as well as National Center for Supercomputing Applications, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology and other laboratories in the Beckman Institute provides access to a variety of additional research resources.
