*NOTE: 25 hours of clinical observation are required for those pursuing graduate studies in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology and should be completed and recorded prior to graduation (any hours not completed prior to the pre-practicum may be done while serving as a senior clinical participant).
The Human Communication Science concentration offers broad-based communications degree that allows students to pair an interest in communication disorders with other areas. Students interested in the Human Communication Science concentration should work closely with the SHS undergraduate academic advisor to develop and file a plan prior to their senior year which identifies specific courses proposed for their correlate area of interest (minimum of 24 hours required).
